(W) Tom King (A) Bilquis Evely (CA) Gerald Parel

A MODERN MASTERPIECE BEGINS.

Kara Zor-El has saved countless worlds… but what does her own life mean anymore? Adrift and defined only through the legend of her famous cousin, Kara is searching for purpose—until a young alien girl arrives with a plea for vengeance. Her world is gone. The killers still walk free. And she wants Supergirl’s help… or she’ll take revenge alone.

Joined by Krypto and an angry, grieving child, Supergirl launches into a cosmic odyssey that will test her resolve, her heart, and everything she believes.

From Eisner-winning writer Tom King and visionary artist Bilquis Evely comes the first chapter of a soaring, soul-shaking epic—presented here in a special SUPERMAN DAY edition.
