Lt. Commander Una Chin-Riley — Starfleet's groundbreaking "Number One" — stands as a pillar of Star Trek lore. First introduced in the 1965 pilot "The Cage" as the unflappable First Officer to Captain Christopher Pike, Una was one of television's first female executive officers.
Revived decades later in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, her character gained new depth: a brilliant tactician with a fiercely guarded secret in her Illyrian heritage, balancing duty with a quiet quest for acceptance in a Federation wary of genetic augmentation.
