Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #2

This 1992 annual features "Blades," a story by James Robinson with art by Tim Sale. Batman faces off against a sword-wielding vigilante who's carving a bloody path through Gotham's underworld, forcing the Dark Knight to confront questions about his own methods and the line between justice and vengeance. The creative team would later reunite for the acclaimed Batman: The Long Halloween series.
