ARTPLA Four Heavenly Kings Shitenno Jikokuten Model Kit

The guardian deity of the East is now available as a high-resolution injection kit! Kaiyodo has produced many "hand-held replicas of the highest quality" that capture the characteristics of artworks and statues through precision and exquisite balance, achieved through thorough observation. The Plamokei series of three-dimensional "Buddha statues" attempts to express this technology in injection kits! The first in the series is a Plamokei version of "Jikokuten," one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Buddhist deities that protect the principal image of a temple or shrine from all four sides, holding a trident and glaring with a sharp gaze. Among the Four Heavenly Kings, Jikokuten is located to the east (front left) of the principal image. This approximately 160mm tall statue perfectly captures the presence and intricate detail of the statue when held in hand. The statue's tightly closed mouth, piercing gaze, armor and clothing inspired by those worn by Chinese Tang Dynasty warriors, and a static yet powerful presence all perfectly capture the atmosphere of the real Jikokuten statue.
