Ratio incentive covers (1:25, 1:50, 1:100 and up) are the best part of collecting new comics — and the easiest place for an online shop to burn you. Many stores list them with unlimited quantity, take your money, then cancel weeks later when their allocation comes up short. We've redesigned how Rune Works sells them so that never happens here.

Our four commitments

1. If you can order it, we can deliver it. Every high-ratio cover (1:50 and up) is listed with a hard quantity cap tied to our confirmed allocation. When the last copy sells, the listing says sold out — we will never oversell a scarce cover and refund you after the fact.

2. Grails live in the Comic Clan showcase. Covers at 1:250 and rarer are never sold as pre-orders. They enter the Comic Clan showcase only once the book is physically in our shop, photographed and ready to ship.

3. Members get first crack. Every Friday one showcase grail is picked at random for a Comic Clan pre-sale: for 48 hours, only members can buy it, at 25% off, before it goes to eBay auction. Members also get a 10% code that stacks on top of our promotions. That's the perk: a real shot at the books that actually sell out.

4. Fair drops on the rarest books. When a grail isn't claimed in its pre-sale, it goes to a 7-day auction instead of a checkout race won by bots. Everyone gets a real shot.

A 1:100 cover exists because a shop commits to 100 copies of the base issue — every base copy pre-ordered helps unlock the incentive covers everyone wants. So we reward it: add any incentive cover to your cart and get 20% off up to 3 standard pre-order covers, automatically at checkout. Clan members stack their 10% on top. You build the run, you get the discount, and the incentives keep coming.
